Information we collect
If you send an inquiry, we collect the first name, last name and email address you provide, and the time we receive it. The form does not ask for a message or payment details. We temporarily use the request's IP address to limit repeated submissions; it is not stored with the inquiry.
As with most websites, we record standard request information for ordinary page visits, including IP address, request time, requested URL, browser user agent and response status.
Why we use it
We use inquiry details to handle and respond to correspondence you initiate. We use technical request information to operate, troubleshoot and protect the website. Where a legal basis is required, we rely on our legitimate interests in answering inquiries and maintaining a secure, working site.
How long we keep it
Stored inquiries are automatically deleted after 30 days. Technical access logs are normally removed after about two weeks. We may delete information sooner when appropriate.
Sharing and security
Inquiry details are transmitted over HTTPS and encrypted before storage on the site server. Access is limited to people authorized to administer the site. Our hosting provider processes data as needed to provide the server. We do not sell inquiry details or send them to advertising or analytics services.
Cookies and external services
The current site does not set analytics or marketing cookies and does not load third-party tracking scripts. Its images, fonts, styles and scripts are served from this website.
Your choices
You can choose not to submit the inquiry form. To ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of information you sent, email contact@acearth.org or use the contact form. We may need to verify your request. Rights available to you depend on applicable law; you may also contact the relevant privacy regulator where that law provides for it.
Changes
We may update this policy if the site or its data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when we do.
